ABOUT THE CREATOR
I've been an addictions counsellor for over 30 years and starting in 1997 I began giving tours of areas where there were thousands of homeless drug addicts were living on the streets. Over the years, I've taken over 3000 youth on these tours and almost without exception every single one of those kids walked away with a completely changed perspective on the idea that drugs are cool and nothing bad can happen if you experiment with them. During these tours, we shot over 100 hours of video to document what the residents wanted to say to the kids. Over and over again, the message the kids heard was: "Stay in school"; "Don't do drugs"; "If you have problems, talk to someone about them" and "I never thought in a million years, I would ever wound up where I am now". Youth who take this program will receive a very powerful, and hard-hitting, reality check about the how dangerous getting caught in using drugs as a teenager can be.
